The Lodge, over 7,000 square feet, is made of native spruce, pine and juniper and affords a magnificent view of the river and all her majesty through a circular wall of windows. The art work throughout the lodge compliments the décor and speaks of a history all its own.
There
are 7 private bedrooms – hand made quilts over inner-spring mattresses
and down comforters, a comfortable reading chair and plenty of closet
space. Each has its own bathroom and shower with
plenty of hot water and linens. There is a large sitting room in the
common area with a massive river rock fireplace, a library with a cozy
wood stove, a dining table which can seat 16,
a well
stocked fly-tying corner, two cigar friendly screened -in porches, a
bubbling hot-tub,
pool table, wood fired sauna, exercise room , outdoor fireplace;
and each guest is assigned his or her own gear –locker for their
reels, camera and favorite hat . We provide quality fishing gear and
breathable gortex waders in varying sizes for your use. All you need to
bring are your personal items.
If you really must mix business with pleasure, or if you are looking for a wilderness corporate retreat, or a remote place to have that strategic planning meeting we have satellite telephones, wireless high speed internet, lap top, printer, satellite television - even a LCD projector.
Outside
the lodge, there are board walks for walking and kayaks for those
who wish to paddle downstream and just relax in the silence of
the wilderness. We arrange fly-outs to show the wonder of Labrador
–see icebergs, whales, fish other areas, or visit the National
Memorial to the Labrador Fishery at
